17 week bump update

How far along? 17 weeks
Raegan's 17 week update

Total weight gain: At my 13 week appointment I was up 6 pounds and I have an appointment next week. We will see how far it's climbed.

Maternity clothes? FULL on maternity clothes now. I tried putting on a regular shirt today. Ha. My lower belly was hanging out the bottom.

Stretch marks? Two have shown up on my hips on both sides. Very small.

Sleep: Sleep is great!

Best moment this week: We bought little guy's crib! Can't wait to start decorating. Check out my pinterest board for his nursery here.

Miss anything? sushi. I may convince Kyle to take me for a NON-raw roll this weekend.

Food cravings: Crap food. Unfortunately. I just want something easy which is always fast food. Hoping my weight hasn't gone up too much.

Anything making you queasy or sick? the smell of BBQ chicken still makes me sick.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! (still in shock)

Labor signs: nope, but I have noticed some tightening lately. Braxton hicks maybe?

Symptoms: I feel 40 weeks pregnant. Oh goodness. Just big and tired.

Belly button in or out? In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm feeling normal. Almost like I'm not pregnant, so I'm pretty happy!

Looking forward to: We have our big anatomy scan in a few weeks. Can't wait to see our little guy!

How's Dad doing? He's still excited and being so patient and understanding as we start purchasing some big items for baby.

16 week bump update

Holy moly! I just realized I haven't done a bump update since 13 weeks!

Shame shame!
Bump Update
How far along? 16 weeks

Total weight gain: At my 13 week appointment I was up 6 pounds. I hate seeing that number climb.

Maternity clothes?  FULL on maternity clothes now. Do you see that bump?! Today was a beautiful fall day! Enough that I could wear a long sleeve dress. Praying this weather sticks around.

Stretch marks? Two have shown up on my hips on both sides. I'm stretching a lot quicker than last time! I was comparing bump pictures and my bump is already the size of my 20 week picture with Raegan. Sheesh!

Sleep: Sleep is great! Not uncomfortable yet!

Best moment this week: We picked out baby's name the day we found out he was a boy. We had always thought Graham would be our first boy's name, but when we heard he was a boy (remember, I thought he was a she), Graham just didn't fit. I swore we weren't going to find a name until he was actually here. But then I heard it. HIS name. Hudson. And we are finally ready to share it with the world. He is our Hudson and we can't wait to see his little face!

Miss anything? regular clothes. I'm in that in between stage and maternity clothes are still a little baggy, but regular clothes are out of the question. I don't like being in limbo.

Food cravings: I'm not really craving anything. I'm not crazy hungry like I was with Raegan. I have to remind myself to eat and that's a nice change from Raegan's pregnancy. I was eating everything in site!

Anything making you queasy or sick? nope! BBQ chicken. Bleck!

Gender: Sweet baby boy! (still in shock)

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: I get sick about once a week and that's about it. I'm starting to feel normal again! Except for the giant basketball I'm carrying out front.

Belly button in or out?  In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I am happy, but I've also noticed myself getting upset easier than normal. My feelings get hurt very easily these days too, but I try not to let it get to me.

Looking forward to: We have our big anatomy scan in a few weeks. Can't wait to see our little guy!

How's Dad doing? He's on cloud 9. He talks to his little buddy every night. He can't wait for his son to be here.

PinkBlush Maternity Review {+ giveaway}

It's no secret I love fashion. Even while pregnant I'm always looking for trendy maternity clothes that fall in line with the styles I love.

So when PinkBlush approached to work with them, I was ecstatic!

They are an adorable maternity boutique that carry all maternity clothes; maternity tops, maternity dresses, maternity jeans, and much more!

I wore PinkBlush all through my pregnancy with Raegan. Like seriously. Look at any bump update from her pregnancy and you'll see PinkBlush. And it's of course continuing with baby boy's pregnancy too.

Something new that PinkBlush is carrying is pajamas and robes and I am so stinking excited!
The pajamas are so comfortable and soft and I cannot wait to wear them at the hospital.

With Raegan I had a c-section and couldn't wear pants because of my incision, but these pants are so soft and loose that if I end up with a c-section for this delivery as well, I can definitely wear them without any discomfort.

Another item that I love from PinkBlush are their jeans. I'm a skinny jean gal and these did not disappoint.

And my ALL time favorite shirt that I may have even bought in 2 sizes to make sure I can wear it my whole pregnancy, is this baseball tee.

So soft.

So comfortable.

Bottom line.

And paired with white converse, it's just casual perfection.
With a growing belly sizing can always be tricky. So here's my experience.

Pre-pregnancy I wear small.

Form fitting tops/dresses: size up
Flowy tops/dresses: true to size
jeans: size up

And good news is they do free returns, so if you get the wrong size, exchanging it is easy!

Now for the fun part! I am giving away $50 to PinkBlush Maternity so you can try their clothes too!

Scroll to the top left of the screen and click on my Instagram icon where I'm having the giveaway.

Good luck friends! The giveaway ends on Sunday at 9pm.

Bumpstyle Box Review

As a pregnant woman, clothes become an issue as soon as you see that positive pregnancy test. At least they do for me. My stomach pops pretty much immediately and I look like I had a few too many donuts for breakfast.

Now I do love to shop, but sometimes I'd just love it if someone would take the thinking out of maternity clothes shopping.

Insert BUMPstyle Box. The stitchfix for the preggos.

How exactly does it work?

Well you fill out your style profile so that the stylist can get to know you a little better. Your likes and dislikes.

Next, you choose when you want the box to arrive.

Then this adorable little box shows up on your doorstep with 4-5 items that your personal stylist chose and tells you how to style them in a handwritten note specifically written for you.
Try everything on and send back what you don't want. A pre-paid UPS label is included so you can send it back for free.

When you fill out your style profile, choose the date you want the box, then wait for that amazing box to arrive!

Now enough with all the business, lets look at the outfits!

The first is this adorable tunic. In all honesty when I first saw it in the box, I wasn't a fan. I like more form fitting outfits that show off the bump, but once I paired it with some leggings and a jean jacket, I kinda liked it.

Nex up is this cute cream dress that zips up the back. WITH pockets! Since it's been so hot here in TX, I wasn't too thrilled about this piece, but once I put it on, I fell in love! With some adorable boots and a printed scarf, it's a keeper!

I loved this top. Pink and Chevron? Sold!

Holy moly this dress is SO soft and so comfortable. It was definitely my favorite item when I tried everything on. Makes the bump known for sure. It would be adorable with a jean jacket too or a kimono.

There was 1 more item, a beautiful pink lace dress, but unfortunately it didn't fit, which is such a shame because it was so pretty and so me! I wish I could have tried it on.

Overall, I absolutely adored my BUMPsyle Box. My stylist picked a great assortment of items to choose from and it literally felt like she was standing in my closet with me telling me how to style each piece.

Thank you to BUMPstyle Box for allowing me to do a review!
