Boy or Girl?

The time has come! I couldn't wait a week to announce it to y'all! If you follow me on instagram or we are facebook friends, then you already know, but for everyone else, here you go!
It's a BOY!

I'm shocked. I was FOR SURE it was a girl. I even had bought newborn headbands I was THAT sure! Ha! Jokes on me!

Baby boy doesn't have a name yet. We thought for sure we'd name him Graham, but after the appointment, I just wasn't feeling a connection between Graham and the baby inside me. So we are working through some names and will announce as soon as we are sure we aren't going to change it.

The reveal was such a sweet little get together of our parents, my Nanny, and my sister and brother in law. Afterwards we went out for Mexican and everyone celebrated with Margaritas. Except me. Boo! I may have sneaked a few sips. Boy did it taste good!

Still can't believe we are having a son. A SON! This is going to take some time getting used to!

Gender Reveal

This weekend we had our gender reveal and it went absolutely amazing! All of the preparing for the past month have finally come together and it couldn't have been more perfect! The decorations were amazing and I was overwhelmed with how many people attended to support us announcing if we were having a little girl or little boy! If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know that we are having a.....
GIRL!

Everyone thought it was a boy, but I just knew deep down that it was a girl :) Most of our guests wore blue.
But there were a few who said pink!

Now to the decorations because that's always the fun part :) I will say, I COMPLETELY forgot to take any picture during the ACTUAL party. I was just SICK when I realized I hadn't. I'm praying a family member took some. The table was absolutely gorgeous with all the food and drinks, but alas, no pictures. All the fun balloons that were on the mantle and coffee table were deflated when I woke up this morning. So my staged after the fact pictures will have to suffice. And yes, this pregnant hormonal lady cried when she realized she hadn't taken the pictures.

Most of my supplies for decorating are from Hobby Lobby, but I'll do a list at the bottom of the post for things that weren't Hobby Lobby.

My birthday is today so we also celebrated my birthday yesterday. Had to take a picture with the candles :)
my sister got baby her first book :) This was our favorite story when we were little.
Be on the look out for my 20 week bump update where I reveal baby's name :)

Gender Reveal Party

If you've been following my blog for awhile, you know that I am SUPER DUPER excited about the gender reveal party! I have started collecting things for the party and planning everything down to the last detail! Here is a sneak peak at some things I have finished working on.

First off, the invitation! I made this ALL by myself, printed, and cut them to look all professionally done! I am quite proud of myself.
Maybe I should open an etsy shop? :)

And then I've been working on my old wives tales board for everyone to read over before making an "educated" guess as to what baby is!

I also made these yarn letters that took me for FREAKING ever! I bought cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby then just wrapped them in yarn. Sounds easy, but VERY time consuming!

Since we are 3 weeks away from finding out what baby S is, I'd love to hear your prediction based on the old wives tales! :)

This will be fun for sure! At least I hope you think so!

Don't worry I will do a full post on the gender reveal party and all the fun decorations once we have it. I won't leaving you hanging :)
