32 week bump update

I have been terrible about doing my bump updates lately! I'm so sorry! With a toddler, the holidays, and just plain being pregnant, this little blog has take a backseat. But don't you worry! I have some great posts coming up, along with some giveaways so make sure you're sticking around!

So here is 32 weeks.
Total weight gain: This is a sore subject. If you don't know, I have hypothyroidism. Gaining weight happens quickly and easily for me unfortunately. I have gained 37 pounds so far. I was really hoping that I'd only gain 40 pounds (what I gained with Raegan) this pregnancy as well. I'm chasing a toddler around for goodness sake! But alas, the weight is coming on quicker than with her. I've passed my glucose tests with flying colors, not even border line, so it is what it is.

Maternity clothes? you betcha. I live in my preggo leggings (wearing in this picture). They are so comfortable and go up over my belly.

Stretch marks? nope! And I'm shocked because this belly is going straight out! Torpedo style.

Sleep: It's hit or miss. If I drink a lot of water (which I'm supposed to be doing), I'm up peeing all night. So drinking water is a double edged sword.

Best moment this week: We got to see our sweet boy on Monday!
We haven't had a sono since 18 weeks and boy has he changed! As my doctor said, he's a healthy baby boy! His measurements put him at weighing 4 pounds 13 ounces. HA! And we have 8 more weeks. Don't worry, I won't be birthing a 12 pound baby or anything, but she did mention that maybe I only eat for 1 for the rest of my pregnancy instead of 2. Ok, point taken. Thanks.

Miss anything? my pre-preggo body. I'm ready to have a skinny face back!

Food cravings: Everything. Give me ALL the food. I really need to learn restraint.

Anything making you queasy or sick? not really anymore.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! Our sweet Hudson.

Labor signs: Braxton hicks, but nothing to be worried about.

Symptoms: waddling (is that symptom?) peeing all the time, heartburn occasionally, and braxton hicks.

Belly button in or out? In! and I'm shocked. It's barely there though anymore so we will see if it pops! It never did with Raegan.

Wedding rings on or off: On. Again. Shocked.

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm very happy our little guy will be here soon!

Looking forward to: holding my son in 8 weeks or less!

How's Dad doing? He's doing good! He is ready for his little linebacker to be here too!

Oh hey, Friday! {24 week bump update}

And another week has come to a close.

Hallelujah!

Linking up with the farmer's wife and September Farm for today's post!

1
First up, Halloween! It had been raining the whole week before and we worried about even getting to go trick-or-treating, but the rain held off for us. Thank goodness!

Raegan was a Cabbage Patch Doll.

Just try and take my candy. I dare ya!

I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth!

 Couldn't have been any cuter!

2
Monday was the anniversary of our first IVF. One of the best and scariest times of my life. Waiting to find out if we were going to be parents was excruciating, but in the end, we have blessed beyond measure by this little one and we can't wait to welcome her baby brother in February.

3
Hudson's nursery is in full swing decoration mode! We are going with a vintage baseball theme. I've been working on some prints to hang and I'm completely in LOVE!

4
I have decided to get behind the camera and do a fun Christmas photo shoot with Raegan. I am using this picture from Pinterest for inspiration.
My dad is a truck buff and is a part of a truck club in the area. He found a member who had a red truck that we can use. I can't wait to post the pictures and share all the fun outfits!

24 weeks. Holy moly. I can't believe we are moving right along to the 3rd trimester!
How far along? 24 weeks

Total weight gain: 20 pounds. Can you see it in my face? Ugh. Was hoping to keep at least my face from blowing up.

Maternity clothes? you betcha.

Stretch marks? nothing yet.

Sleep: I'm sleeping well lately except for getting up to pee.

Best moment this week: Nothing too special this week.

Miss anything? sushi. End of story.

Food cravings: Everything? I want food ALL.THE.TIME! Guess the 20 pound gain shouldn't be so shocking.

Anything making you queasy or sick? not really anymore.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! Our sweet Hudson.

Labor signs: Braxton hicks have began in my lower belly. Not bad, but definitely can feel them. And heart burn has begun. Maybe he will have a lot of hair?

Symptoms: Lots of stretching, peeing all the time, heartburn occasionally, and braxton hicks.

Belly button in or out? In! But it's starting to pop a little.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm feeling moody lately. I know I'm growing a baby, but I'm struggling with my weight gain. I'm working out and trying to eat better. I guess I'm just one of the gals who puts on a lot during pregnancy.

Looking forward to: the holidays for sure!

How's Dad doing? He's doing good! We started decorating Hudson's nursery so the financial side of that may be stressing him out a bit ;)

22 week bump update

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain: 20 pounds. Holy moly. My only guess is it's going to by belly and chest. Goodness gracious.

Maternity clothes? you betcha.

Stretch marks? The two that showed up have gone away. I use bio oil and it's a lifesaver.

Sleep: I'm up multiple times a night having to pee so I've been feeling very tired lately.

Best moment this week: Hudson gave out a little kick for Kyle!

Miss anything? sushi. End of story.

Food cravings: Everything? I want food ALL.THE.TIME! Guess the 20 pound gain shouldn't be so shocking.

Anything making you queasy or sick? not really anymore.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! Our sweet Hudson.

Labor signs: Braxton hicks have began in my lower belly. Not bad, but definitely can feel them.

Symptoms: Lots of stretching, peeing all the time, heartburn occasionally, and braxton hicks.

Belly button in or out? In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Feeling a little down with how much weight I've gained, but all I can do is eat better and continue working out. We will see how it goes.

Looking forward to: Halloween! I can't wait to share what Raegan's going to be dressed up as. Any guesses?

Also, I'll be having a giveaway on the blog for a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins. You don't want to miss it!

How's Dad doing? He's so excited he felt baby Hudson kick!

20 week bump update

How far along? 20 weeks

Total weight gain: 12 pounds. I gained 6 pounds in 4 weeks. My midwife says it's fine, but I'm freaking out a bit. HALF of my total weight gain was in 4 weeks! Probably because I wasn't throwing up anymore. Oh well. It is what it is.

Maternity clothes? you betcha.

Stretch marks? The two that showed up have gone away. I use bio oil and it's a lifesaver.

Sleep: Sleep is great!

Best moment this week: Nothing too special this week. I have started having more round ligament pain. So this week instead of best moment this week, we will do worst moment.

Miss anything? sushi. End of story.

Food cravings: Crap food. Unfortunately. I just want something easy which is always fast food. Could explain my weight jump. Trying to be better on giving into my cravings.

Anything making you queasy or sick? the smell of BBQ chicken still makes me sick. Bleh.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! Our sweet Hudson.

Labor signs: better not be!

Symptoms: Started having shooting, burning pains on top of my stomach. Something I didn't have with Raegan. It was always round ligament pain under my belly not on top. It'll stop be dead in my tracks and I have to breathe through it till it's over. My midwife says it's just muscles stretching.

Belly button in or out? In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! We are half way there!

Looking forward to: We are taking Raegan to the fair this weekend!

How's Dad doing? He's ready to feel his little guy kick!

19 week bump update

How far along? 19 weeks

Best moment this week: We had our anatomy scan last week and got to see baby Hudson. He's looking great and measuring 5 days ahead. Which doesn't surprise me. Raegan was 3 days ahead the entire pregnancy and was still late. I'll be shocked if this guy comes early.

Miss anything? sushi. Always and forever. Kyle has promised to take me on a sushi date soon. Sans the little gal!

I'm dying to share his middle name, but we have to have some secrecy right?

Labor signs: better not be!

Symptoms: Honestly I'm feeling good! Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant. Then I look in the mirror. Paha!

Belly button in or out? In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! Holidays are coming up and this is my favorite time!

Looking forward to: Going to the state fair next weekend. I know it's not pregnancy related, but I'm still excited.

How's Dad doing? He's doing good, but is starting to get stressed as we map out everything we need for baby. Poor guy.

17 week bump update

How far along? 17 weeks
Raegan's 17 week update

Total weight gain: At my 13 week appointment I was up 6 pounds and I have an appointment next week. We will see how far it's climbed.

Maternity clothes? FULL on maternity clothes now. I tried putting on a regular shirt today. Ha. My lower belly was hanging out the bottom.

Stretch marks? Two have shown up on my hips on both sides. Very small.

Sleep: Sleep is great!

Best moment this week: We bought little guy's crib! Can't wait to start decorating. Check out my pinterest board for his nursery here.

Miss anything? sushi. I may convince Kyle to take me for a NON-raw roll this weekend.

Food cravings: Crap food. Unfortunately. I just want something easy which is always fast food. Hoping my weight hasn't gone up too much.

Anything making you queasy or sick? the smell of BBQ chicken still makes me sick.

Gender: Sweet baby boy! (still in shock)

Labor signs: nope, but I have noticed some tightening lately. Braxton hicks maybe?

Symptoms: I feel 40 weeks pregnant. Oh goodness. Just big and tired.

Belly button in or out? In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm feeling normal. Almost like I'm not pregnant, so I'm pretty happy!

Looking forward to: We have our big anatomy scan in a few weeks. Can't wait to see our little guy!

How's Dad doing? He's still excited and being so patient and understanding as we start purchasing some big items for baby.

16 week bump update

Holy moly! I just realized I haven't done a bump update since 13 weeks!

Shame shame!
Bump Update
How far along? 16 weeks

Total weight gain: At my 13 week appointment I was up 6 pounds. I hate seeing that number climb.

Maternity clothes?  FULL on maternity clothes now. Do you see that bump?! Today was a beautiful fall day! Enough that I could wear a long sleeve dress. Praying this weather sticks around.

Stretch marks? Two have shown up on my hips on both sides. I'm stretching a lot quicker than last time! I was comparing bump pictures and my bump is already the size of my 20 week picture with Raegan. Sheesh!

Sleep: Sleep is great! Not uncomfortable yet!

Best moment this week: We picked out baby's name the day we found out he was a boy. We had always thought Graham would be our first boy's name, but when we heard he was a boy (remember, I thought he was a she), Graham just didn't fit. I swore we weren't going to find a name until he was actually here. But then I heard it. HIS name. Hudson. And we are finally ready to share it with the world. He is our Hudson and we can't wait to see his little face!

Miss anything? regular clothes. I'm in that in between stage and maternity clothes are still a little baggy, but regular clothes are out of the question. I don't like being in limbo.

Food cravings: I'm not really craving anything. I'm not crazy hungry like I was with Raegan. I have to remind myself to eat and that's a nice change from Raegan's pregnancy. I was eating everything in site!

Anything making you queasy or sick? nope! BBQ chicken. Bleck!

Gender: Sweet baby boy! (still in shock)

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: I get sick about once a week and that's about it. I'm starting to feel normal again! Except for the giant basketball I'm carrying out front.

Belly button in or out?  In! And I don't think it will ever pop. It's the deepest inney ever!

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I am happy, but I've also noticed myself getting upset easier than normal. My feelings get hurt very easily these days too, but I try not to let it get to me.

Looking forward to: We have our big anatomy scan in a few weeks. Can't wait to see our little guy!

How's Dad doing? He's on cloud 9. He talks to his little buddy every night. He can't wait for his son to be here.

13 week bump update

Bump Update
How far along? 13 weeks

Total weight gain: Today's appointment showed I am up 4 pounds, but like the nurse said the scale really just reads "I'm growing a baby." LOVED that perspective!

Maternity clothes? Always and forever until this baby is born! And probably a little after too.

Stretch marks? not that I have found yet.

Sleep: comes and goes. I've been tossing and turning a lot lately.

Best moment this week: We got to see our adorable little baby today!

Miss anything? wine and sushi. ALL.THE.TIME. This probably won't change the whole pregnancy.

Food cravings: fruit. I craved this with Raegan too. Wonder if that means it's a girl again? Oh and double cheeseburgers from McDonald's.

Anything making you queasy or sick? chicken and anything with a strong smell.

Gender: They took a peak today and we have a....

Haha. Sorry. We haven't told our families yet. So we are keeping it a secret for one more week. Next week check my bump update picture. All of the pom poms will either be pink or blue!

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: morning sickness is getting better, but now I'm breaking out like a hormonal teenager!

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped with Raegan. Doubt it will this time.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Definitely on cloud 9 now that we know boy or girl :)

Looking forward to: telling everyone if we have a baby Harper or a baby Graham in mama's belly!

Hows Dad doing? No comment. Literally. That's what he said.

12 week bump update

Bump Update
How far along? 12 weeks

Total weight gain: According to my bathroom scale I'm up 2 pounds. I think that's pretty good!

Maternity clothes? Oh yes! This baby really popped this week! No more frumpy belly, this is a really baby belly now!

Stretch marks? not that I have found yet.

Sleep: I sleep great because I'm so exhausted all the time!

Best moment this week: looking pregnant and not like I've eaten too much.

Miss anything? wine and sushi. ALL.THE.TIME. This probably won't change the whole pregnancy.

Food cravings: fruit. I craved this with Raegan too. Wonder if that means it's a girl again?

Anything making you queasy or sick? chicken and anything with a strong smell.

Gender: hoping to find out soon!

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: BAD morning sickness, acne (getting better), exhausted.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped with Raegan. Doubt it will this time.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Definitely moody. I'm sick all the time and that just makes me emotional.

Looking forward to: seeing baby at our sono next Friday for our 1st trimester screening appointment.

Hows Dad doing? He's excited to find out if he gets to add another boy to the family!

11 week bump update

Bump Update
How far along? 11 weeks

Total weight gain: 0 lbs. I haven't really changed at all this pregnancy yet. Here is 6 and 7 weeks. My tummy hasn't changed much. I don't have a bump picture for 8 weeks (out of town) and 9 and 10 weeks (sick sick sick).

Maternity clothes? On Monday I started out the day in regular clothes, but by mid day I was in maternity shorts and it was so much better!

Stretch marks? nope!

Sleep: I sleep great because I'm so exhausted all the time!

Best moment this week: Just a regular ole week. Nothing special :)

Miss anything? wine and sushi. ALL.THE.TIME.

Food cravings: ice cream and McDonald's. I know. My non-pregnant self is gagging as I write that.

Anything making you queasy or sick? chicken and anything with a strong smell.

Gender: I really have no clue. I don't have a feeling like I did with Raegan. I think maybe girl? But hope it's a boy for Kyle.

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: BAD morning sickness, acne, exhausted.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped with Raegan. Doubt it will this time.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Definitely moody. I'm sick all the time and that just makes me emotional.

Looking forward to: Just like last week, having this squishy "did she eat too much?" bump turn into a real baby bump.

Hows Dad doing? He's ready for mama to be out of the first trimester and feeling better!

10 week bump update

Here we go! Updates for #babysandersondos are beginning!

Granted there are no actual pictures of the bump yet, but as soon as I start feeling better I will start taking them!
Bump Update
How far along? 10 weeks

Total weight gain: 0 lbs. I was down a few pounds, but the morning sickness is getting better, so I'm back to even.

Maternity clothes? Surprisingly no. With Raegan I was already in maternity pants, but this time around I'm not yet.

Stretch marks? nope!

Sleep: I sleep great because I'm so exhausted all the time!

Best moment this week: It was more of a bittersweet moment. I woke up this morning to bleeding so we headed to the doctor to check on baby olive and he/she was completely fine! They couldn't find the source of the bleed and told me to just take it easy. It was such a good feeling to see that little flickering heartbeat. Today is the anniversary of losing our first baby 2 years ago. Praising the Lord that my little baby is still growing inside of me.

Miss anything? wine and sushi. ALL.THE.TIME.

Food cravings: no cravings yet. This time around I have WAY more aversions.

Anything making you queasy or sick? chicken. Just typing it makes me want to gag. Really meat in general. And anything that has a strong taste. Oh and baby food. Feeding Raegan is a tough things these days!

Gender: Everyone thinks girl. The heart rate has been high so we will see! I'm hoping it's a boy for Kyle. Poor guy needs some testosterone in the house!

Labor signs: nope

Symptoms: BAD morning sickness, acne, exhausted.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped with Raegan. Doubt it will this time.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or moody most of the time: I am exhausted and tired and feel like I'm not being the best mom I can be to Raegan. So I guess you could say moody.

Looking forward to: having this squishy "did she eat too much?" bump turn into a real baby bump.

Hows Dad doing? Besides being freaked out today, he's pretty darn excited!

Raegan's 10 week update
10

week 40- Raegan, your time is UP!

Bump Update
How far along? 40 weeks 1 day

Progress: none at all! 0 cm, 25% effaced

So I am leaving off the rest of the bump update because we are at the end! My due date was yesterday and our sweet girl is still as comfy as can be. My doctor checked me at my appointment and nothing has progressed. She also did a sono and Raegan is totally fine. My fluid levels are great and she is still as active as can be! So she's not showing any indication that she is in distress or needs to get out. And believe me, I have tried EVERYTHING to get her moving. I promise any idea you have, I've done it!

My doctor wants to either induce Friday or Monday. I just don't know what to do. Our birth plan was to let her come when she's ready. I'm healthy, Raegan is healthy, and I would much rather let her come when she's ready, but it's looking like that may not happen. My doctor said Monday, July 28, is the absolute last day she would want to wait to induce. That just bugs me. We are both healthy. You say it's because Raegan could possibly be a big baby, but we don't know that for sure. I understand it's a gamble, but isn't that up to me? Ugh. I just don't know what to do.

And EVERYONE has their own opinions of what we should do too. Which is totally fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but then it kind of muddies the water and makes our decision harder to make. What is the right decision for us? Is there really a right or wrong decision when we get our baby in the end?

Praying for peace and direction as we figure out what to do!

week 39- bump update and letters for Raegan

Bump Update
How far along? 39 weeks

Total weight gain: 35 pounds

Progress: none at all! 0 cm, 0% effaced

Maternity clothes: I'm surviving on t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts! The Texas heat is HEATING up quick!

Stretch marks: nope! Wahoo!

Sleep: ugh. Don't even mention sleep to me right now. If I can even fall asleep, the night welcomes continuous braxton hicks, cramping (tummy and legs), and constant peeing. I dread night time.

Best moment this week: spending time with friends and family before our little one arrives. I've been scheduling lots of lunches and dinners with friends. I not uncomfortable at all and have been enjoying spending time with friends and family.

Miss anything? I was looking at all of the previous bump pictures and I miss my pre-pregnancy face. Ready for it to slim down again.

Food cravings: fruit, cheese, avocado, vanilla greek yogurt, popsicles.

Anything making you queasy or sick? nope!

Gender: girl

Labor signs: I'm definitely having Braxton Hicks contractions and I'm very crampy, but besides that, nothing new!

Symptoms: round ligament pain, peeing constantly and urgently, swollen ankles, winded easily, braxton hicks, crampy.

Belly button in or out: It only took 39 weeks but the top of my belly button popped. Still not a complete pop, but it finally kinda happened!

Wedding rings on or off: On! I'm so surprised! But some days I don't wear them when the heat is really bad.

Happy or moody most of the time: I feel just like I did last week. I'm still feeling great, but am really getting impatient. God really taught Kyle and I patience on our road to becoming parents. I really need to dig deep and tap into that patience that He so lovingly taught us back then. He will let our sweet girl arrive when it's time!

Looking forward to: sweet girls arrival.

Best moment this week: we got her mamaroo and pack-n-play this week! Everything is ready for you! Come on baby! We also decided we are going to spell her name Raegan. Part of me is scared to announce that in case we change our minds, but I think we are pretty set on it! At least I hope so!

Miss anything? I was looking at all of the previous bump pictures and I miss my pre-pregnancy face. Ready for it to slim down again.

Food cravings: fruit, cheese, avocado, vanilla greek yogurt, rainbow popsicles.

Wedding rings on or off: On! I'm so surprised!

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm definitely starting to get uncomfortable, but not too bad. I threw my back out last week (I have bulging disks low in my back) and that pain has not been fun to deal with while pregnant.

week 36- bump update and letters to Reagan (or Raegan)

Yes, you read that title right. We are back to debating the spelling of her name. Oy vey! Who knows what or when we decide on the spelling. It seriously could be when I'm holding her after she's born! But hey, at least little miss has a name! :)

Bump Update
How far along? 36 weeks

Total weight gain: 31 pounds. At my last appointment I hadn't gained any weight. My doctor is very proud of me! In the past 6 weeks I've gained 1 pound. Apparently I just put all my weight on early in my pregnancy!

Maternity clothes? I'm surviving on t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts!

Stretch marks? nope! Wahoo!

Sleep: ugh. Don't even mention sleep to me right now. If I can even fall asleep, the night welcomes continuous braxton hicks, cramping (tummy and legs), and constant peeing. I dread night time.

Best moment this week: having our 2nd baby shower for our sweet Rae!

Miss anything? being able to easily do things like pick something up off the ground or tie my shoes! I should get a gold medal for tying my shoes every night before our walk!

Food cravings: fruit, cheese, avocado, vanilla greek yogurt.

Anything making you queasy or sick? nope, but I have noticed I am starting to get nauseous again at night, so I make sure my stomach is full when I go to bed.

Gender: girl and I'm making the sono tech check and make sure again at her sono on Monday :)

Labor signs: I'm definitely having Braxton Hicks contractions and I'm very crampy. I do have occasional pressure down there so she's getting ready!

Happy or moody most of the time: When I saw Dr. Ku last week she said "you're still smiling!" Why yes I am! I am one happy momma who can't wait to meet her baby!

Looking forward to: Rae's last baby shower this weekend! Then we will buy any last items that we still need and then just wait till little Miss makes her grand entrance!
